EVENT: Asian American and Pacific Islanders Speak Out
#UnitedWeStand
WHEN: April 22, 2021 (Thursday) 5:30pm -7:00pm
EVENT PURPOSE: As we have witnessed and reported by the media, Asian Americans have experienced the intersection of misogyny, sexism, and racism contributing to dismissive response to the truths of this form of abuse and hate. We will gather to have a conversation with Asian Americans in our community to learn how to support one another in solidarity.
Help us and our community use this avenue to voice out possible solutions to create a positive change for this current community dilemma.
Our moderator is Cheryl Myers, Deputy Secretary of State, State of Oregon.
This event is hosted by PACCO – Philippine American Chamber of Commerce of Oregon.
